Research lines:

Line 1: Socio-Anthropology, Policy, Planning and Management in Health in the Amazon.

Interdisciplinary studies of historical, socio-cultural and bio-anthropological aspects of the production and modulation of endemic-epidemic processes in traditional Amazonian populations; evaluation of health programs, policies, techniques and technologies, health networks.

 

Line 2: Epidemiology of infectious and chronic non-communicable diseases in the Amazon:

Epidemiological studies of diseases in the Amazon, bringing together GIS themes in health, oral health, toxicology, ethnopharmacology, pharmaceutical assistance, food and nutrition, genetics.
